The discussion on the dispute seems pretty strongly tilted in the “keep” direction.
Going to be interesting to see the United States put Wikipedia under export control as a munition.
Tbf Wikipedia feels like another website whose hosting should be federated in order to evade clampdowns
They provide the entire database as a download for this reason
I agree Iran has a strong upper hand right now, but it’s been less than a week since the most recent deal was announced and also literally the very next article up is about how the deal may still fall through. Seems a bit early to declare a winner at all

Israel has already bombed Lebanon and Iran has already stopped ships in the strait again so… Yeah. We just wait and see if Trump finally does something positive and stops directly supporting Israel. Bonus, Trump will be impeached and removed within a couple of weeks if he does, and Israel will lose protection just long enough for its people to finally face some level of consequences for the first time in their history.
the deal is meant to be enforced in 30 days time so thats not a problem
We can prove this just using Trump’s own words…
“But what this does is it allows the ships to go. If we keep bombing, those ships won’t be going”
So Trump is admitting that Iran controls the strait.
What, practically, does that mean for the US?
“we run out of [oil] reserves in about four weeks”
Sounds like he is under some time pressure!
What would happen if it wasn’t solved by then?
“[markets would] go down at levels that nobody ever saw before, maybe except for 1929”
Oh. That sounds bad?
So how likely is he to avoid this outcome by winning the war within the next four weeks?
“if we didn’t do this deal, we could have dropped more bombs for another three weeks, two weeks, four weeks, two years. You would never have the Hormuz Strait open. You would never have success”
There you have it! If he doesn’t agree to the deal, the US is guaranteed an economic collapse. So he is forced to take the deal.
What do you call it when one side in a war is forced to take a deal?
This is an underrated comment. Honestly the most articulate and clear summary of the US defeat I’ve seen so far.
I’d have to credit Belle for the idea, but thanks!
And yahu is already saying they’re staying in Lebanon
Editor battles over stuff like this is my least favorite aspect of Wikipedia.
Oh the war isn’t over untill Israel stops attacking Lebanon.
The US is entirely uber cucked to Israel… literally Israel is saying they will release Epstein material no one has seen before, if the US withdraws.
This is not over, not by a long shot.
The entire MOU itself also like, isn’t a peace treaty.
It is an outline of what must in place and agreed upon before actual peace negotiations re-commence.
But its already violated, because part of it includes: Israel has to stop attacking Lebanon, which they refuse to cease doing.
Every person and media outlet acting like this is a peace treaty, a formally upon ceasefire… is a propagandist.
You can literally just read the document yourself.
Truth is the first casualty of war, and all that.
More must die for the Epstein class.
Either Trump has to accept being publically, definitively outed as a child rapist, or the US has to regime change Israel, or Iran has to cease existing.
Those are the ways this can end.
Ignore what wikipedia says
Click the little citation links
Thats what matters
yes, and it’s a pretty extensive citation list for one footnote 🙏

Uh not if Wikipedia agrees with me.
It’s a valid source then.
in before the “‘Nam was a draw!” dudes
Let’s be honest, he can still make the whole thing a lot worse in the next 60days. Also kinda disappointed the Iranians didn’t press for the release of the Epstien Files. Its have been hilarious
Now we need Pakistan to negotiate an agreeable wikipedia.
The US has been on the losing side of every armed conflict it’s been involved with for the past 80 years.
Its current “leadership” believes that streak is at least twice that.
How long until the orange kid-diddler signs an executive order stating Wikipedia must say Iran lost…
Proof by Wikipedia
Iran, I ran so far away!
But could you get away?
Huh, when I checked somewhat recently it said strategic victory rather than just victory
I can’t quite keep up with this tictactoe. Where are the grids?
