It’s just sad that many people still believe it as adults. For almost everyone on the planet, including Americans, the US primarily brings suffering. Whether directly, as in this current case, in Palestine or countless other military operations, indirectly through the capitalist exploitation of entire countries, trade blockades, economic sanctions, attacks via financial markets, or in the long term through its climate and environmental crimes.
The US will ruthlessly assert its interests (i.e., the interests of the American owner class), regardless of the price that other people, including Americans themselves, have to pay. Meanwhile, anything and anyone who does not submit is threatened. And when nothing else helps, they bring in the military.
My country is also bad. So are many others if not all. But at the top of the list of the most harmful, evil, and worst countries in the world is clearly the US.
