    Everytime this shows up I wonder if this is really a male nipple or if the creator used a female one just for extra laughs. If it was a serious thing that people actually did it would be hilarious if they were replacing one female nipple for another.

    Somehow also reminds me of a story about a singer’s album cover released during the latest military dictatorship in Brazil (it was a heavily censored period). Folks went out of their way photographing a woman’s asshole with a marble ball on it until they managed to get one that looked like an eye - then used that picture as the album cover.

    What’s interesting to me,is with no context,we don’t know if its male or female. Its just a nipple. No sex,gender,body attached. Just a nipple. Its not offensive,just a piece of skin. So can everybody throwing a fit about women need to cover up,please sit down and shut up?

    I’ll never understand why nipples are seen as gross or sexual, I mean all mammals have them, and their function isn’t even sexual in nature, it’s to feed babies. Do people think that babies nursing is a sexual thing? (If you do there’s something wrong with you)

      What blows my mind about that image is that the size of the nipple does not look undersized on the man nor oversized on the tattoo lady. Nipple size variation is really quite wild

        Imagine the male nipple without the tattoo… it does look undersized. And I reckon if you saw that giant nipple on a real woman you would be very concerned.

    What will happen, if I see a female nipple? I’ll get emotioonal scars so severe they’re undoable? /s

    (Whouldn’t be surprised if it was just made up on the spot to make women cover up themselves more)

    Please only use nipples from males with insensitive nipples, just to be extra sure they can’t be sexualised

      Because in the womb,the person develops with both genders,then settles on one(why women have a clitoris,it would have became a penis). Men kept the nipples when they developed male. As George Carlin put it"congratulations guys,you’re a biological afterthought." (Also I am not a doctor/biologist,and that is a stupid simple breakdown of development. The Carlin quote is accurate-ish,though.)

      Men can lactate, specifically when they are severely malnourished, but I have heard it’s possible to induce it in various ways. This would aid the survival of a tribe when food was scarce by keeping the babies alive for longer, but some mammals can do it under normal circumstances as well.

          It generally takes months. It’s not like women can lactate just by pushing their nipples either.

          In the ordinary course of events, they need to get pregnant, build up all the ducts and milk producing cells, and then get the right combination of hormones to trigger milk production. And then you have to keep removing that milk, or it stops.

          You can get people not going through pregnancy to lactate by giving them the hormones. Recovery from famine can also produce the needed hormone spike.

    I loathe whoever made this meme and the entire censor male nipple movement.

    It’s literally beating people down because they think it’s “justice” since they can’t neither can you. That’s why we live in a nanny state exactly that reason.
