Lol, the sludge the russian refineries are producing nowadays would absolutely fuck up any recent US car; even the cars in Russia currently have a shockingly high frequency of garage trips. If you are lucky, you only have to swap out the fuel filter, if you are unlucky, your engine becomes a chunk of scrap metal. There are videos of people pulling slimy chunks of whatever the fuck that stuff is out of their fuel.
And what Diesel exactly does Putin want to export? Only probable way i can currently imagine is transporting crude to India and the refined Diesel from there to the US. Russia is currently a net Diesel IMPORTER.
Btw, there is no guarantee Russian crude or Diesel ever makes it to the US, and that is something that even the US can’t prevent. UA is very adapt at transmuting russian tankers into pillars of flame and smoke nowadays.

Donald does not think long-term, and he certainly doesn’t give a crap how this affects consumers, provided the negative effects don’t manifest close enough to the election to make his prospects worse. He and his candidates are going to get their asses kicked in November, though.
I’m going to laugh so hard if my father fucks his new truck up running that shit because he refuses to use my biodiesel in anything other than the tractors on the farm.
That swimming transgression against air quality is gone at least, and the Ukrainians are funnily not the cause, it was all self inflicted.
first, the refit was delayed for years
then, the largest floating drydock they had sank because of an power outage, smashing a 19m² hole into the boat with a 70 ton crane
while they tried to fix this damage and upgrade the systems, a large fire broke out that caused 8 times the amount of financial damage the crane caused
and then they took the 1500 crewmen and sent them to the frontline
There are currently no plans to reactivate this abomination
She hasn’t been decommissioned officially yet, but there also aren’t any plans to get it working again because of the exorbitant costs for that. Add to that the problems of getting parts to bring her to a somewhat recent standard, and the only future i see for this thing is trading its scrap value for some Pepsi. Edit: which would be the second time Pepsi had a military navy - i am totally for that happening again!
After obtaining a photo of then–US vice president Richard Nixon and Soviet premier Nikita Khrushchev sipping Pepsi, PepsiCo executive Donald Kendall was able to capture the attention of the Soviet people, and in 1972 he negotiated a cola monopoly in the USSR and Pepsi became the first US consumer product to be produced and marketed in the Soviet Union. Due to Soviet restrictions on transporting roubles abroad, PepsiCo struck a barter deal whereby Stolichnaya vodka would be exchanged for Pepsi syrup.
In 1989, amidst declining vodka sales, PepsiCo bartered for 2 new Soviet oil tankers, 17 decommissioned submarines (for $150,000 each), a frigate, a cruiser and a destroyer, which they could in turn sell for non-Soviet currency. The oil tankers were leased out through a Norwegian company, while the other ships were immediately sold for scrap. A deal struck the following year would’ve seen Pepsi acquire 85 ships worth nearly $3 billion over the next 10 years, but it only acquired 10 additional ships before the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991. The deal was renegotiated with the former nations of the USSR, and included receiving cheese from Russia to supply its Pizza Hut locations and receiving double-hulled tankers from Ukraine. These deals also originated an erroneous factoid which claims that, after acquiring the Soviet fleet, PepsiCo briefly possessed one of the most powerful navies in the world. In actuality, the only warships acquired by PepsiCo were “small, old, obsolete, unseaworthy vessels”.
I am still searching for the clip of the epic sludge in some batches of fuel. it was in a live stream of the “Inside Russia” Youtube Channel, and he posts very long and exhaustive videos, so it might take me a bit to find the source i was talking about, but these clips (especially the one from the guy who used a nylon stocking to filter the fuel) are a good basis, although what that guy had in his filter was childs play to some batches i have seen which were sold on the black market.
Edit: still searching, but to recreate the needed mental image, the crap in the black market stuff is somewhat like jello with strings in it. Even if your fuel filter is capable pf dealing with the more solid stuff, the amorph crap in there will probably make it beyond that barrier and will fuck up everything regarding fuel injection that is the default nowadays.
If Ukraine hits those ships, Trump will say Zelensky attacked the US and seize all support. He is looking for an opportunity to finally align with his favorite Tsar

Most credible Russian emissions control, it’s not just the Kuznetsov!
