The rails in front of Henry are taken up and a brick wall is erected in front of him to prevent any collisions. Henry can only sit and watch other engines passing through the adjacent bore. Edward and Gordon often greet him, but Henry cannot respond, as his fire has gone out. Henry wonders if he will ever be allowed to pull trains again.
