It won’t work. MAGA is a classic cult of personality, and there is no #2. Lots of people think they are the heirs apparent, like Vance, Rubio, Hegseth, Don, Jr., etc., but that’s just their narcissim talking. Once Trump assumes room temperature, there will be attempts to claim the crown, but his base will evaporate. They love him, and only him.
And without that base, the rest of MAGA can’t survive.
