I finally made myself enable the setting where it auto-closes inactive tabs after a month. If I haven’t come back to it by then, I probably wasn’t going to.
I think my mistake was enabling session restore on my laptop. I should have a fresh start whenever I open up Firefox and save things as bookmarks, if I actually think I will use them again. Sounds like a bit more waork though.
I have session restore but both at work and home I do this thing called tab nuking every day or so, where I just spam the X for the right most tabs until I can read the tab names again. There are some staples I need for work or at home, but those aren’t on the right side usually. If I fuck it up history is a tool that exists for a reason.
Makes me laugh how Firefox mobile goes to the infinity symbol after 100 tabs. Like bro dont rub it in.
