    I don’t think it’s germophobic to want the cat, who stands in his litter box (which gets scooped every day and replaced twice a week) fulla pee clumps and turds, to stay off the counters and especially food.

    I accept my dogs and cats - any pets - are going to be expanding my exposure, shit I give them raspberries and kisses… but not the cat’s toes lol.

      I agree with you. I do however think that it’s germaphobic to allow that to cause you not to get a cat despite proclaiming to want one, like the commenter I was replying to.
