While you’re at it, check your railings (stair, balcony, deck). No gaps wider than 10 cm, height 100 cm and not horizontal/climbable by small children. You have a lot less time than you think before that little squirmy thing is running around. The nights last forever but the weeks fly by.

Is this PSA due to seeing crib, or due to the crib in the image being improperly constructed?
It looks fine. And it’s likely not made from scratch, but a flat box assembly. But it’s a good PSA anyway.
Editing to add: No finials or anything sticking up that could hook a string or strap and enable a baby to strangle themself.
