    That’s certainly what it looked like to me. Not so much “I want to be here” but “my people didn’t tell me what to do after the medals”. He looked like a confused old man shuffling about.

        It’s true. If there was even one single person in his immediate orbit that gave more of a shit about him personally than about what being near him could do for themselves, he’d never have been allowed to walk all the way to Air Force One with toilet paper stuck to his shoe, much less left to wander in this screamingly loud, crowded, visually confusing huge building without someone at his side.

        And that’s another thing. He’s in a position where anyone already in the area could just rush him, not to mention trip and fall hazards with confetti flying everywhere. Secret Service is there, certainly, but do you see them? I don’t. Everything about this is just odd: no one from his entire entourage is anywhere near him.

        Not that I give a shit, but it’s weird that NO ONE he brought with him does either.
