    Close, its related to the nutty putty cave rescue in which John Jones fell head first into a hole while cave crawling, got stuck, and couldn’t be rescued and died stuck upside down

      Cavers weird me put man. Its one thing to explore a cave you can walk around in, but like why go through passage that’s barely big enough to fit through on your stomach?

        He went the wrong way thinking it was a mapped area that involved a narrow passageway to a larger space. So you can go with confidence knowing there’s an out.

        Trouble is, he falsely identified and went down the wrong passageway, and moreover slid too far in.

          No only that but he was way too big to be navigating those passages in the first place. Just a lot of bone headed decisions made by that guy.
