One Shop in Frankfurt after the protest officially ended.

Nothing turned violent, this is a giant nothing-burger.

They set up all these crazy wooden barricades down Kö in Düsseldorf and it was just a normal demonstration in the end.

And even if it hadn’t been, what? Was my heart supposed to bleed for some supermarket chain? In the words of Emma Goldman, from “Anarchism and Other Essays”:

“Ask for work. If they don’t give you work, ask for bread. If they do not give you work or bread, then take bread.”

“Other people’s livelihoods (it’s rarely chains, people go for less protected private shops on the streets instead of large buildings) is something I’m ready to sacrifice”

Don’t trip by your own edginess

EDIT: No Lemmy, domestic terrorism is bad no matter how hard you downvote this. If you want to hurt someone, hurt the rich, the corporations, governments, not my mom running a street shop making less € than programmers. I’m amazed how well they managed to make people right each other and y’all are defending it. Idiots.

I thought they give you bread in Germany.

Someone else’s shop was a sacrifice you were willing to make.
