The US will demand money up front and then take the weapons and/or funds for themselves to support their failing imperial adventures like they did with Switzerland.

Not delivering on agreements is Trump’s bread and butter. He’s all but come out and announced that his administration supports Russia over Ukraine, but they’re working against a lot of inertia both internationally but more importantly domestically. They have to nominally play along for now, as they bide more time to frogboil us and use conservative media to manufacture consent to go all the way.

By 2030 I think they anticipate that Ukraine won’t exist to collect.

Why in the everloving fuck, is Europe relying on that system, if it takes 5+ years to get a few missiles?

Looks like like that’s less than a current years production. Unfortunately Trump and Hegseth lit the US reserves on fire so they could do insider trading on the prediction/betting and oil/stock markets. Now they need to restock before the next distraction/market manipulation/AI fueled ego trip. Also Trump wants Putin to think he’s cool. Priorities.

It didn’t take that long before Trump’s War on Iran used the stockpile in a handful of months for nothing.

Almost like that was maybe the actual plan. Emptying the US defense stockpile means both a militarily weaker US, and a ton of new manufacturing contracts for defense contractors.

Because it didn’t use to take 5 years. The US were pretty reliable when it came to weapon deliveries before Trump. Also a lot of European countries have the weapon systems to fire those missiles and it would take time and money to replace them.
