    The way I see it, Putin managed to convince Trump to put himself in a position where he has to pressure Ukraine into stopping attacks on Russian refineries. This is a straight up win for Putin.

      Yeah, but there is no fucking way UA will stop their attacks, because it is the most viable way of bringing russia to its knees.

          I can also see the inevitable “US Military gets it’s nose bloodied against a country with a shitton of drones while being fucking overextended regarding logistics with the problems that come with that Part II” headline following.

          Edit: The situation in the black sea is close to the situation in Hormuz - no sane Freigher wants to go there. And in the north sea they have the issue with some european states finally finding their balls they had misplaced sometime in the past and actually stopping shadow fleet tankers and selling off their goods - and only because the US says so, the EU sanctions do not disappear.
