I believe the IDF’s “military capability” is largely subsidized by the US sending nearly-unconditional aid, and because of their ideology riling them up for their chance to shoot civilians during their stint in military service.
I do think forcing the West to bear arbitrary reorganization of their borders, for once, would be “funny.” But who is going to force them to when neither the Israelis nor any European country would want that? The West could have enforced the Israeli project on the Middle East (even if Zionists weren’t salivating for the chance to colonize the area) in lieu of Jewish support.
