Is there a community on Lemmy for connecting people who are learning a language?
For instance, I am learning Spanish, and I’m not yet at a level where I can converse with native speakers reliably, but it would be beneficial to have someone to practice with who was also learning, without having to pay for some tutoring service or something.
Oh, I would love this! I’m learning French and haven’t practiced outside of Duolingo yet.
I’m sure there are some French speakers on here! Are you learning for travel, or work, or fun? I don’t speak any, but a lot of my family speaks Louisiana French and a variation of Quebec French
