    Isn’t it over now it’s coming into September. I don’t imagine there’s going to be many heat wave through a while.

      Firstly, it’s not over - in the UK it will cause big storms and potential flooding into the winter.

      Secondly, the whole point is to encourage long-term disaster planning. Saying ‘we’re fine until next time’ and then panic buying on the cusp of the next event is exactly the thinking they’re hoping to address.
