xbox game pass feels like it’s against everything linux stands for
For people like me who just adore and love the forza horizon series, it will be the only way to play without windows or repurchasing newer titles on steam. It’s a clear plus in my book. Fuck microslop tho.
It’s an operating system, not a philosophy.
Idk how game pass is implemented a way, maybe there’s a way to keep playing after cancelling the subscription when this is open source.
So, ironically, part of the reason I sold my Xbox was that streaming from Xbox to windows didn’t even work properly.
I don’t see this as a bad thing for people who want it. Steam doesn’t offer something similar to game pass (I wish they did)
Wasn’t familiar with the project, but it also covers the microsoft store games, i.e. not streaming only.
