Can we just call them hostile invaders and stop all this “settler” nonsense. ?
I hate that these marauders, raiders, and murderers are euphemistically referred to as ‘settlers’.
For real. Settlers makes me imagine hardworking folks taking care of land and animals in remote places, not roving bands of armed violent psychopaths.
Stop calling them “settlers” ffs it’s a word designed to invoke an image of unclaimed land in the American general populace. They’re burglars, invaders, and murderers.
I’ve been calling them Colonists and came here to make that correction.
