Lawyers aren’t supposed to lie but also represent their clients in the best possible light to try and get sympathy of the judge, jury (if present) and public opinion in general.
Not to sympathize with the guy but seems evidence is pretty solid. All he can do is try to spin into something it’s not.
A lawyer should know what a double negative is… Or maybe he did it on purpose…
