I’m not a biologist or anything, but FACT as far as I’m aware. Domesticated cats are much closer to wild cats than domesticated dogs are to wolves. They likely stem from an older version of the species that currently live in Africa, which is routinely that hot even in the shade. Their hearts just beckon back to the olden times when they were worshiped as gods, it was comfortably warm outside all the time, and they could engage in all the casual murdering of smaller creatures that they felt like.
I suppose it probably depends on their coats quite a bit? One with a dense layer of down hair is effectively wearing a winter coat compared to another cat wearing a windcheater
But in general, their natural body temperatures are a degree or two higher than ours, which is probably part of why they love being so warm
I read somewhere that cats ordered temperatures are a bit higher than ours, somewhere in the 30s, so she might be perfectly happy
Although whenever it’s above mid 20’s one of ours will only lay on the floor, so it must vary

She’s got a super thick undercoat
I put an ice cube on her while she was sleeping and she didn’t notice, and the cube didn’t melt
Our other cat is a total summer child. All winter he’s a giant puffball and doesn’t want to leave your lap.
My superfloof loves cuddles all the time even when it’s hot. She also used to go outside in negative Fahrenheit so she has a large comfort range.
Our superfloof pretty much never sits on anyone’s laps. We assume she’s hot all the time, but who knows?
