Trump suggested that Iran could also normalize relations with Israel by signing the Abraham Accords and said that “it would be an Honor to have them also be part of this unparalleled World Coalition.”

However, Baghaei threw cold water on Trump’s optimism, stressing Monday that “the focus of the negotiations is on ending the war on all fronts, including Lebanon,” and that this critical point is “one of the core elements of understanding in any agreement.”

What negotiators aren’t discussing at this time, according to both sides, is ending Iran’s nuclear development.

hasnt drumpf and netanyahoo already restarted bombing? The united states playbook is:

    • declare truce and peace pact,
    • wait for markets to relax,
    • invite other side to talks,
    • then bomb their homes.

Rinse and repeat. Just like Quisling became a dictionary word for collaboration, Trump is becoming a dictionary word for treachery.

Europe, China, and Russia must get together and negotiate with Iran. Iran doesn’t trust Trump and Trump is too closely linked to Netanyahu. Europe, China, and Russia could offer a different perspective.

Why would Europe negotiate with Iran? The conflict is between Iran and the US. What kind of perspective should Europe offer?

But the war affects Europe and the world. Europe would have no problem storing Iran’s enriched uranium or having China, Russia, or Pakistan store it.

Yes , but if they could get an agreement from Iran, there is no expectation that Trump or Netanyahu would agree to it.

Or if they said they agreed, no expectation that they wouldn’t break it within a week’s time. Again.

Trump would be pressured to agree. The agreement would prevent Iran from developing a nuclear bomb which is what Trump says he wants. Trump would have to explain what else does he want. Further pressure would be applied if other countries such Pakistan, India, Qatar, and Saudia Arabia agree. If Trump rejects the deal, Europe, China, and Russia would proceed without him. They would protect Iran from attack by the US and Israel. This would include protecting tankers carrying Iranian oil.
