Why then start a war with Iran of all countries, one of Russia’s allies? I think a *complete* Russian puppet would start a war with a neutral country, or better yet one of Russia’s many enemies.
Easily justifiable and believable to the magat base, waste material that could be used against Russia either directly or via Ukraine, further political infighting/deadlock in the US, further degrade US’ standing with allies/global community, more global chaos, inflict the same economic stress Russia is dealing with on the world and on it goes. Russia sent over a million of its own citizens to the meat grinder for its own ends in Ukraine, you think it gives a fuck about its “allies” if it means furthering their ends?
