All my interactions (4) with wild kittens have been them hiding mostly. Never seen a solo one though. Also all humans are probably nice to cats. They might even see mama cat be chill with a human.
I got over the “are they torturing a kitten for clout” pretty quick into it. This felt more and more like someone documenting a rescue. It just bothers the heck out of me they got the kitten walking up to them and not starting with holding the cat or in a box.
