I think they mean all the newer techno crap that cars have like touch screens and the like not power windows, AC and engine related stuff thats been around for decades. And I agree with that. I want a car that has the basics and yeet the touch screens and other garbage no one asked for but it seems theres not really any choice anymore.

When I was in junior high there was a project that was worth half my grade that was announced on day 1 and due at the end of the semester. I waited until an hour before it was due to start working on it. I got an A. I can only imagine what I could have done if I had worked on it consistently throughout the semester like a normal person.

The whole point of ADHD being diagnosed is that it has become a problem. Enough of one that people wait months if not years on a list to be assessed and pay hundreds, thousands of dollars for that assessment depending on insurance or lack thereof. And because of the pandemic shortages, a lot of people have trouble obtaining medication or in my case, they had bad reactions to specific types and need to find ones that work without those side effects. I was fortunate. My therapist was neurodivergent and made sure that I got support even before I was formally diagnosed.

That only really happens if there is no immediate threat of doom. If there is, I am the most productive person on the face of the Earth but only due to the sheer terror that results from last second procrastination.

CBT therapy is the tutorial. The drugs are aim assist. The game is still set to hard but at least now you have a fighting chance

Take out the largest loan I can today, bring that money back to 2014 when bitcoin crashed to 50 bucks each, sell in 2017 when it was around 19k, buy in mid 2019 when it was 10k, hold until it peaked in 2021 and cash out. If you started with 10k and did that, you could be worth over 26 million dollars today. You could be worth even more than that if you managed to leverage more loans and didnt screw up the timeline too much.

Cats have someone that will feed and house them, provide toys, scritches and pettings, catnip and medical care their entire lives for nothing. They dont have a job to worry about or bills to pay. They dont have to care about politics or how the world is on fire, they just hang out with other cats and people that spoil them their entire lives. We on the other hand, have bills to pay, a soul sucking job to go to 8+ hours a day, 50 weeks a year until were so old we cant do that anymore then we spend maybe a decade or two falling apart medically speaking until we stop forever.

Who is actually the dumb animal here? And before someone mentions their cat doing something dumb, I bet you know a person thats done something even stupider.
