Trump never sticks to his words so the concept of a middle doesn’t exist when he will go back on whatever he says over and over and over. Wish countries would just unite to sanction the US and isolate it.

That assumes most Americans are against what Trump is doing which is not the case based on election results. And unlike the civil war for slavery its not like opposing sides are neatly divided by regions this time around either.

It’s more like a random mixture of differing sides living side by side, so rage against the machine would end up looking more like neighbors carrying out reenacting their favorite moments from the Purge movies and just what looks like indiscriminate mass murder between civilians. Not even state vs state.

US assurance means as much as Russian assurance anyways, and US is known to go back on deals they themselves proposed and signed like what they are doing to Canada. So if the US isn’t even making a good faith attempt at a deal they likely wouldn’t stick to in order to protect Ukraine it just shows how corrupt negotions were from the start.

Before completely cutting off ties from the US showing the public attempts had been made for diplomacy and providing evidence of what a bad actor US has become is important.

Showing is way more impactful and supports moves made afterwards than just making claims and cutting ties.

So not completely pointless, since the public needs to be able to come to the conclusion themselves first before drastic foreign relation changes can be made.

Brings up memories of the South Park episode of the CIA or FBI where the boys found out the organization was trying to project themselves to be more powerful than they actually are, and intentionally wanting people to believe scary rumors about them.

Reason this has gotten lot of attention is that the way US has been negatively affective international citizens. Even if someone wants to keep their head in the sand when it comes to the US it’s hard to ignore when they keep threatening tarrifs and then start threatening allies and forming bonds with their enemies.

Yeah it seems it’s conservatives who are the ones who like to obsess and make it the topic of discussion to make their followers think it is the left’s primary platform of focus.

And then they also fixate on entertainment like games or movies to further play up how everything is woke as though it’s the left politicians making all that.

And it’s because that’s really the only compelling thing they have to play up to their followers who too make it their entire identity of conflict, since their other policies aren’t working class friendly.

Most people in crypto are drawn to it the same way people are to gambling apps. Politics means shit and it’s just full of people chasing after get rich quick scheme and fixating the price and trying to convince people to keep buying so they can offload their bag. Who the hell plays up crypto like it’s some liberal stance when it’s been mainstream for years.

Yep lot of sports streams I’ve seen straight up don’t have commercials and goes to dead air during breaks, since they aren’t streaming regular broadcast channels.

Really nice ones switch to stadium cameras during breaks so showing what’s going on with the crowd and arena.

They may not be politicians but they spend money to get themselves into positions of political power as these few days have shown with Musk. And these people get most of their power from the masses that are dumb enough and bigoted enough to be swayed by a shared common hatred of groups to scapegoat for everything.
