Coalitions and minority governments have happened in the UK too (e.g. early 2010s was a coalition between Conservatives and Liberal Democrats), but much more rarely than in a system with proportional representation (like Austria). Usually in the UK the party that gets the most votes does also get a majority of seats.

Windows isn’t a bad OS from a purely technical perspective. If Windows were released as FOSS, I would switch to Windows without hesitation.
Geographical aspects are incomparable between 1930 and 2025. Germany is a lot smaller in 2025 than in 1930 and German division hadn’t happened yet in 1930.

I used to read RSS feeds from Thunderbird a long time ago, but that required me to set them up again on every reinstallation and every device, so I eventually stopped doing that.
Nowadays I read RSS feeds on Mastodon. There’s a service https://rss-parrot.net/ that converts any RSS feed into a fediverse account, so you get RSS feed updates into your feed along with everything else you follow there. Of course it would be even better if blogs and news sites just posted directly on the fediverse, but not all of them do.
