Congrats! Sounds like an excellent prognonsis!
Also, Jesus fucking christ a 100000 dollars for a workup+surgery? A similar case is propably no more than 10-15k€ in northern europe (paid by the taxpayer of course).

Oh for sure feels like that in Finland too but apparently statistically speaking for every one of those families there’s a bunch of people who never reproduce whereas middle class educated people have 2-3 children pretty consistently.

I dont know whats the situation in france but in finland highly educated (middle class) people have more children than working class people.

Religion?

I actually got a call from the survey these are based on. While i dont know how they compile the answers into a score, i felt the questions were quite relevant.
Also, i feel finns score high because we are culturally modest people who enjoy the simple things in life. Are we physiologically experiencing more happiness than others? Maybe not. But we propably score high on measurements of how content people say they are. ”Cant compain”
Yea in get that, i was talking in terms of total costs.
E: actually looked it up, most likely the whole thing wouldve been max 10000euros to the taxpayer around here (Finland). Workup+surgery+hospital stay.
