I used to love watching Iron Chef Sakai. The Americanized shows never reached the grand level of the original show’s Iron Chefs, ingredients, and creativity.

I’m a middle school teacher and Snapchat exists. I am not aware of anything but very possible.
More like homo ignorare, yes?
Like all those current billionaires?
That rational and empirical evidence would cause people to reconsider their intuitive perspectives and lead into constructive conversation.
I had a much better experience with Reddit than a lot of people express. Of course that all changed that year and half ago. But my point is that I was deep into a world of intellectualism on Reddit that I have not found since it was wrecked. I have found Lemmy to be an infant version of that.
It is hard to find communities like I had, if there is any activity in my interests at all. I have not found a news feed as quick as the ones I followed on Reddit if any feed at all. Information sourcing and original content almost never happen. The politics are highly tribal and intellectual here. The science barely exists. The hobbies and special interests have little to no activity. I only have the app on my phone to look for a quick read.
Countries will all take back seat to the all mighty profit. Oh and some bullshit about defending the fabled promised land to keep constituents happy.
I was never really into cartoons but I enjoyed Pee-wees Playhouse.
Don’t live near dirt, wind or rain. Don’t bring cardboard into the house. Don’t allow animals in the house, including humans. Keep the house temperature over 2000.
Is bothers mehow intelligence is too often percieved as the opposite.
The number of misconceptions from this allusion far exceeded my expectations.
Anything that is founded on karma or divine retribution. That shit is just diffusing accountability.
I hate shopping online. There are very few things I will order. I will absolutely never buy clothes or furniture online. I will happily pay a little bit more for the opportunity to buy in person. However, I am not a good consumer, rarely buying much of anything. So my support of local stores goes unnoticed as more and more stores close and shipping of return items grows.
Oh my god, those shoes are hideous!
“Only in death does duty end.”
No. I’m addicted to board games with friends. But here I am on my phone again.
My great grandfather’s mason uniform.
Open-minded conversation.
Nothing has replaced what Reddit was. I use Lemmy for the nostalgic feeling but it does not compare.
I followed news, politics and science, mostly. The community on Reddit used every tool available to create credibility. Then profiteering tore it asunder.
The only other social media app I ever use is Facebook. But it’s purely for connections to friends, family and local hobby groups.
I was reading about their grocery bill for the series being over $7 million. American Iron Chef has like 2/3rds of the number of episodes and spent probably only 1/3rd of the grocery bill. The creativity of the Japanese chefs matches that difference.
