There are only four browser engines running all the the different browsers. Each engine controlled by a massive company. Each company tries to capture user data with their default offering.
Orion browser claims it will i be different but that is currently just a claim.
CSB: Years ago when my kid was in after school care I fixed a couple of their busted PCs. Nothing major, just made sure the hardware was OK, reinstalled Windoz, and then installed some FOSS games on them. I had enough stuff from the work scrapheap and mine to make a third. Kids loved it. I was a very-local semi-celebrity.
Just because the hardware doesn’t make the cut for heavy work doesn’t mean it cannot handle the needs of others.

Want to see crazy used car prices? Look at small Toyota trucks in southern California. The prices are insane because many people want a small basic truck for work. The 22R and 22RE engines live long and if they do die it is easy to source a rebuilt engine.
I went this route. I don’t need something powerful to scroll Lemmy and watch downloaded TV/movies.
Made sure it had two display port outputs for dual monitors. Added another 16GB of RAM because why not. It is way more than I need. Probably could have gotten away with used micro PC.
I also have a NAS and micro PC “server.”

How did you get diagnosed? Really.
Lemmy has taught me that I likely have ADHD and meds may help. I was diagnosed as bipolar over 30 years ago and have been on meds for that. Things were always off but I couldn’t put a finger on what it was. Plus I always feared changing things (or meds) would make me worse.
I’ve already decided I’m going to talk to my regular doctor about it but… I keep having to cancel appointments because I forget to get my required blood tests.
Dog got sick on the sheet and the dryer is broken. I’ve slept on that bare ass mattress for two days so far. Dryer is supposed to be replaced today but I’ll be to drained after 10 hours at work to do wash.
Executive disfunction has prevented me from getting another sheet before this happened.
I used to do this with cans of soda when visiting my parent’s house. Their house was large enough I could easily lose one. I couldn’t remember if I had an open one so I’d just open another.
This really bothered my father.
