It’s not that hard in practice. You can start with jellyfin then work up from there. After that it’s a torrent client, after that its radarr/sonarr, after that it’s prowlarr, after that its jellyseer. Every step you can stop to tinker and fix issues and you can even swap stuff that doesnt work how you like.

I think TrueNAS is just marking the qbt download dir’s size as the full amount of the folders before they’re hard linked. Either way it’s recorded I’m sure it’s not actually duplicating the data now! phew!

Yeah I did a read through despite everything they wrote there’s still no mention git, which means their project-critical YAML file has no means to rollback changes, bisect issues, manage concurrent development, audit changes. or even back up via any git provider out there.

I can see they’re a new dev so I don’t wanna blame them, this is entirely on their project management and experienced devs to use some kind of version control.

the 680M is well supported. You should be fine with that.

I’d keep either CPU vendor behind one or two generations from latest, at least in the GPU dept, to avoid the chance of any issue. The 680M fits that mark so I don’t foresee anything major.

I think this depends on your tracker. For digitalcore, they expect you to be seeding for X amount of time but after that you’re good. I don’t think ratio is super important for them but it may be others.

They also have an IRC that increases your freeleech as long as you idle in it. When I started I accidentally did a few Hit-and-runs and my freeleech was low so I just logged in with a client I set up to autostart with my OS, which sorted it quickly enough.

Once you get a few torrents permanently seeding (even if it’s slow!) you build up enough freeleech to not ever have to worry - it’s self sustaining for me now.
