You have clearly never driven any of those. I s working at a car rental in the early oughts, when these came out. Still one of the most pitiful cars I’ve ever driven. On par only with three C 300 I think. My god these Chrysler’s just hate corners.

The Mk II lost all the charm of the original in my opinion. I think there is nothing cooler than going on a road trip with three people in the front (like in a transporter). To have that in a compact car would be a huge selling point for me. Who really cares about looks – cars are for utility in the first place imho.

I think old American cars had a couch instead of a front seat, so you would be able to fit an entire family (or one average sized American). How cool was that?

Podcasts are a leftover from the non centralized and non-monetized internet of the past. Because is that most Podcasts are still available as rss feeds, so you should only ever get adds if they are spoken by the Podcasts hosts. Ate you taking about those? Only something like sponsorblock would help against those. I use antennapod (fdroid) on android to listen to Podcasts. Sine hosts always start their podcast with an add, but you can autoskip the first minute of a certain podcast with antennapod every time. It has a setting for that. Antenna pod itself is foss software without adds.

I’ve been using droidcamx to utilise any android phone as a webcam for a couple of years and it’s working great. Phones tend to have way better cameras compared to webcams so the video quality will be top notch in must most cases.

It’s cool they included this into android 14, though.

Ich hab so eine auch an meiner Pflanze seit gestern. Ich habe erst mal neem öl systemisch gegeben, d.h. 5ml öl in 10 L Wasser verrühren und dann die Pflanzen damit bewässern. Das sollte für ca. einen Monat Schädlinge abhalten.

Aber ich werde gleich mal versuchen, die Fliegenlarve mit der Pinzette zu entfernen, wie hier im Faden empfohlen wurde.

Na, nicht jeder hat einen Komposthaufen und literweise Blumenerde vom Supermarkt in den vierten Stock tragen, ist auch nicht wirklich geil. Da ist Coco schon deutlich komfortabler. Hydro ist deutlich teurer, wenn ich mich richtig erinnere. Wenn man ein Wickersystem zur Bewässerung benutzt, kann man auch die Töpfe von oben mit Plastiktüten oder sonstigem versiegeln, damit keine Schädlinge ins Erdreich kommen.

Ich vermute Cocos gewinnt letzlich häufig, weil es deutlich einfacher zu transportieren ist. Wer kein Auto hat, hat sicher noch weniger Bock auf Blumenerde.

Ich habe schon des öfteren mit Coco Tomaten und Chilis angebaut. Es macht einfach keinen Spaß, Säckeweise Blumenerde in den vierten Stock zu tragen und Coco ist auch noch gut bezahlbar. Hatte vor ein paar Jahren einen Südbalkon. Habe ein System mit Regentonne und Reservoir unter jedem Topf plus Wickersystem gebaut. Das ging extrem gut und einfach, weil die Pflanzen sich immer genauso viel Wasser gesogen haben, wie sie brauchten. Man konnte auch mal in den Urlaub fahren zwischendurch, aber 4 Pflanzen haben schon so ein 50 Liter Fass in der Woche leergesaugt, wenn das Wetter gut war, wenn ich mich richtig erinnere. Der Sommer war extrem heiß mit sehr vielen Sonnentagen. Da kommt man mit dem manuellen Gießen nicht wirklich hinterher bzw. das wäre bestimmt nicht optimal fürs Wachstum. Das ganze Wicker-System ist leider über die Jahre abhanden gekommen, aber ich hab n Youtube-Video mit ner extrem einfachen Anleitung für ein Tröpfchensystem mit Regentonne gefunden, damit ich dieses Jahr auch in den Urlaub fahren kann. Das funzt auch gut, aber Reservoir fand ich eigentlich noch besser, weil die Dosierung so mega einfach war. Leider gabs da immer wieder Lecke im System, das war schon ziemlich nevig und man konnte die Pflanzen auch nicht mehr wirklich bewegen, sobald sie angeschlossen waren. Mit dem Tröpfchensystem kann ich sie jetzt auch morgens auf die Fensterbank auf der Ostseite des Hauses stellen, was sehr wichtig ist, weil auf der Westseite (Balkon) leider nur wenig Sonne ankommt.

Aber zum Coco zurück: Ich habe nicht das Gefühl, dass es im Vergleich schwieriger ist, damit anzubauen als mit Blumenerde. Die Blumenerde (zumindest in meinem Budget) war auch immer vorgedüngt, von daher muss man auch darauf achten, dass man die Pflanzen nicht zu früh umtopft. Bei meiner kranken Pflanze jetzt haben die Probleme auch schon vor dem Umtopfen angefangen, deswegen vermute ich, dass die Anzuchterde dieser Pflanze vermutlich mehr Dünger enthielt als bei den restlichen. Denen gehts ja auch nach dem Umtopfen prächtig. (Hatte einfach Alterde benutzt, die noch auf dem Balkon rumlag, keinen Plan, was da vorher Düngermäsig mit passiert war. Das ist natürlich nicht optimal, aber ich war einfach zu faul, Erde aus dem Innenhof zu holen, da weiß man ja letztendlich auch nicht, was für Nährstoffe drinstecken.) Ich dachte auch immer Coco wäre 100% Bio und organisch, ist dem etwa nicht so, bzw. was ist in Hinsicht auf die Uweltfreundlichkeit als Anzuchtmittel zu empfehlen? Und Blauspurdünger (für Tomaten) passt nicht gut zu Hanf und Cocos-Erde? Ich habe mein Wissen dazu aus diversen Reddit-Threads zusammengesucht, die Erfahrungen waren vermutlich vorwiegend anekdotärer Art und nicht immer wissenschaftlich fundiert.

Edit: Ach so, ich hatte den Teil mit dem speziellen Cocosdünger ganz überlesen, aber Blauspurdünger ist nunmal um das zehnfache günstiger im Vergleich mit dem Spzialdünger für Cocos und ich habe damit auch schon gute Erfahrungen gesammelt… Ich werde in Zukunft aber einen Monat abwarten, bis die Vordüngung im Cocos aufgebraucht ist, und dann Blauspur nachgeben, um die Pflanzen zu schonen. Spezialdünger ist bestimmt besser, aber das lohnt sich für mich einfach nicht.

Danke für die Tipps! Ich denke ich werde nicht noch mal alles umtopfen, sondern versuchen, das Beste aus den gegebenen Bedingungen zu holen.

Ach son Ärger, ich wusste nicht mehr, ob die Coco-Erde vorgedüngt ist, oder nicht. Es stand nicht auf der Packung. Vermutlich war die Pflanze noch etwas zu klein für den Umzug in den großen Topf. (Vorher hatte ich zur Anzucht alte wiederverwertete Blumenerde benutzt, die ich noch rumliegen hatte. Das schien ziemlich gut zu gehen). Jetzt habe ich gestern auch noch Blauspurdünger-Perlen rings um die Pflanzen ins Erdreich gesetzt. Das habe ich schon mal genauso vor ein Paar Jahren angepflanzt, damals mit Tomaten, da klappte das so eigentlich gut. Evlt. waren die Pflanzen beim Umtopfen schon etwas grlößer. Den Blauspurdünger sollte ich vielleicht besser wieder entfernen, so gut es geht? Und rauswachen geht, indem man ein paar LIter Wasser (in der Spüle) durch die Erde laufen lässt?
