Honestly 9 kinda explains why there’s no 8…
I was just counting screens/displays. There’s technically 2pcs and an old mbp driving the actual monitors. 9 being what it is probably has a lot to do with the lack of an 8
11 is an apple display panel I bought a number of years ago from Louis Rossmann when he was having to liquidate his stock of them because of some change apple made that effectively made them useless for future repairs. I did not have a machine that would use this display so i had him peel the wrapping off it and sign it instead so i could hang it on my wall. If you look closely you can kind of just make out “FUCK APPLE” and then his signature below.

I see your point, but yes. The French method was created specifically as a means of efficiently and reliably getting the job done without having to rely on the skill of an executioner.
If a vengeful display is what you’re after there are better methods suited to that goal.
Maybe in material alone but the labor costs in cutting, sharpening and honing that steel sheet stock into the blade is gonna run at least another couple hundred in labor at a first guess. I also seriously doubt 16g steel is going to have the heft needed for an effective blade of that type.
Name of the game is efficiency and if you’re having to do multiple runs or add extra weight to the blade mechanism it just slows things down.
It helps once you have the emotional maturity and skills to contextualize your own dysfunctions and divergences as such. Even with a diagnosis on the early side, everything I do wrong or fail to execute on is inherently still, and always will be, my fault.
