No you’re right. I’m being totally serious when I say we can’t swap platforms each time a CEO comes out as a fascist. It’s just too troublesome because we could be doing actual good instead of looking for another obscure platform that doesn’t quite meet our needs.

That sounds like an interesting idea. I teach my kids French here in Okinawa, because I learned it as a kid growing up in Canada. I do it because it could provide opportunities for them in the future. It’s also fun and a part of Canadian tradition that I wanted to keep even if they’re growing up thousands of kilometres away. Now, I get to do it as a fuck you to the USA.

One thing about the site though…

Flip the language on your favorite show once in a while.

That needs to be fixed.

I’m sure that site is still new, but it would be nice if they provided resources where one could learn or teach French (free or paid) without relying on US platforms like Duolingo or Kindle books.

The bigger risk is assuming that voting will even happen or matter with their corrupt government.
