It certainly is. Unfortunately for all of us, it’s more complicated than the Dems and “lesser of two evil” voters (of which I was one) have been lead to believe as well.

How do they support themselves now? Usually by having another income stream, or not very well…

Though I’m not suggesting they should give away their work for free. I’m saying they should maintain rights (and consequently royalties) to their work.

Regardless, we preferably would remove capitalism outright and work towards a future where artists can pursue their art for its own sake. Everything else is a bandaid.

The UN wasn’t created to stop war, it was created to stop another World War. Giving a veto to a country that has nukes and/or could sustain an extended war against the rest of the world is primarily meant to achieve this goal. And in that regard, it has worked decently.

And while I think that this being the “best compromise” humanity could make sucks ass. The cold logic of it kinda made sense to me.

Used to be that cursing was a way to show your disdain for having restrictions placed on your freedom of expression. Now cursing without censorship is considered “polite internet speech” and adding an * is offensive and uncouth. Your right to express yourself how you choose be d*mned!
