This is such a major issue for streaming. It’s why I had to stop using Gnome. Global hotkeys for OBS, Discord, etc are such a crucial part of it. It’s actually shocking to me how Linux has moved on without global hotkeys and nobody seems to care.
The Plasma solution is sweet, but I’m sticking to X11 until Wayland actually functions for streaming.
“Haha, I was just posting! Not arguing! Stop taking the 20 serious comments I made seriously!!”
I just want to point out how thoroughly dominated you were in this argument. Your ability to argue a point is almost as feeble as your historical understanding of socialism.
Wishing you luck. Linux is fun AF.
You just said it was made up and now you’re moving the goal posts. Stop.
It’s so wild that you felt it was appropriate to post ai slop in response to an actual artist venting career issues. Nightmare stuff.
You misunderstood the article. I was being charitable.
We didn’t read the same article, clearly.
Strawman someone else. Blocked.
Tello. Anything else isn’t necessary for me. $8 a month?
Are you roleplaying as an idiot, or do you really believe that workplaces around the world would tolerate shit like this?
Rhetorical question btw. We know you aren’t roleplaying.
The main version is GNOME on many distros. Stop arguing and Google it for fuck’s sake
Stop.
Your example is not defeating the purpose, it’s futility. Defeating the purpose would be to vacuum first and then dust after. An “undoing” must occur.
I love how nobody even bothers responding to this dumpster fire. Just downvotes. Hilarious.
Nobody cares when someone tries to preemptively qualify incoming advice. It’s an open forum. Everyone will just ignore your criteria because you admittedly don’t know much about this. If you gave us a reason that didn’t vibe as “I think I know more than I do” I bet people would consider not chiming in.
What a normal person does is simple: just ignore the advice that they don’t value.
Yes, obviously poor social skills. Demonstrably.
One time while streaming I had someone convince me to install zsh. Almost bricked the thing live. No clue what I was doing that day.
