Yeah I don’t think they need to have a black base to be a tortie, as far as I know. I never had pets growing up and these are my first two fur babies, so I’m not an expert.

But they definitely seem to have a unique temperament compared to other cats I have met. At least this one, lol.

Yeah they are both getting close to the double digit mark. Henry is a year older and is definitely in his old cat phase of just wanting to sit in the tower all day, only coming down for meals or belly rubs. He is way more friendly to strangers too.

There is definitely something about them! I didn’t even know what a tortie was til we took her to the vet the first time. I just thought she looked real cute at the humane society.

No problemo! The only thing I’ve run into with regards to being banned by other users is to not have anything or very little available for download. I got a warning from someone I downloaded from when I first joined because my library was very small and I didn’t have my filesystem figured out yet so I was sharing the wrong folders.

Also on my end, when I have a download queued for weeks or sometimes months, and the user never seems to log in, that can be frustrating. But I’m like you I don’t have my computer on 24/7, just try to be available when I can and have my whole music folder available for sharing, haven’t gotten any complaints yet.

I’m not sure about question 1, but I think the answer is yes, you do need to be logged in to share unless you have some other setup going on like a dedicated server or something. I just use it on my PC and try to leave it on when I can, but nobody ever seems to download from me, haha.

2. I use a VPN, haven’t had any issues or had to configure anything for it specifically.

3. I do use nicotine+ (also on Linux) because I had some issues with the actual program downloaded from their website. Not sure what it was because I didn’t really try to fix it after I found out about Nicotine+. It works great.

I dunno. I actually think about this sometimes. I’d like to think I’d be friendly, but it depends on how everything went for me leading up to wherever I end up. If I lost my entire family, I would probably become pretty hostile towards everything. If I wound up in a big safe place with lots of supplies and people, I’d probably be more friendly, but also wary of anyone new.

SO much creativity! The options were endless. I remember trying my hand at using the map builder to make my own custom map, but it was so hard. I remember thinking, these were made by other players like me?? No way, haha.

WC3 custom maps were so fun man. There were all sorts of random ass games you could play. Of course there was DoTA which speaks for itself, but I remember playing like DBZ and Naruto story themed games that were fun too. And all the different tower defenses… I have been wanting to play a good TD for a long time and haven’t been able to find anything that compares to what they were like back then. LAN parties were peak.

I don’t think anyone is ever old enough for that movie. That scene with the people in the basement still haunts me.
