I guess it’s kinda obvious in my case :)

I guess it’s kinda obvious in my case :)
I’ve installed the template of kali-core (available by default in the template manager), them create a qube with the kali-core template, and add all the apps available to the qube. Sadly I don’t have all the apps that are normally present into Kali. Such as Ettercap and Wireshark
Maybe those apps are not installed by default in the template? Launch a terminal in the template and try to install ettercap and wireshark from there.
not in the “default” template manager how do I use that?
Never tried that, and I couldn’t find anything about installing templates from local files on qubes wiki :(
Try qvm-template
command in dom0 terminal and see if there are options to install template from local files there.
So how do I to install flatpaks? (Install flatpak CLI in the template and use it on the qube?)
Dunno what is the proper way to install flatpaks, those few times when I actually need to use a flatpak, I just download it to an app qube and then launch it from terminal (I guess that’s what you’re doing as well?). I use Arch [btw] for some of my qubes, and installing mullvad browser is easy thanks to AUR :)
Ah sorry, I actually confused flatpaks with AppImages. I don’t use flatpaks at all :(
When I’m doing a Kali template it doesn’t give me all the apps that are present in Kali.
Have you installed them in the template?
And if I want to use Parrot?
If there are no templates available, you will have to either create one or use HVM. Can’t help you with either though
basically I want to know the way of installing apps
Launch a terminal in the chosen template, and install the software there like you would normally do it in the distro that the template is based on. Shutdown the template afterwards. Shutdown your app qube. Go to settings of your app qube - applications - click refresh. Move the installed app from the left side to the right. Done.
Want to set up “hacking” lab, mainly Kali or Parrot and other to use with the networking to “hack” them, basically I want to run multiples VMs
Install Kali in template manager (it is available as a community template). Create an app qube based on that template. Done.
I don’t see why US election deserve more credit on global communities than French. German or Belgian ones.
Because French, German and Belgium elections don’t affect the rest of the world (or “global community” if you prefer) nearly as much as the USA ones?
I didn’t even slightly care about American politics, until they started a proxy war in my country and now whether hundreds of thousands (or even millions) of people live or die (probably) depends on the elections in USA…
Being drafted (which is forced labour where you additionally have a high chance of being killed or wounded) is always not okay, not just when it is done to invade another country.

Well, this is a fair criticism… of Bitcoin :)
It’s supposed to be decentralized, but things like mining pools have lead to heavy amounts of centralization in block production. If we look at Bitcoin, for an example, we see that over 51% of block production is controlled by just two mining pools. That’s not limited to just Proof of Work mining either. Proof of stake sees centralization in staking pools as well. That’s only just looking at one aspect of the network
Centralization of mining pools (and mining in general) is indeed a serious problem. In Monero we now have p2pool which is totally decentralized. For now it’s just shy of having 10% of total hash power, so there is a long road ahead, but we are moving there. ASIC resistant RandomX also helps to ensure mining decentralization.
It has also not really been seen as a currency. People’s view of it as an “investment” which have the opposite qualities you really want to see. People are encouraged to hold it and never let go, meaning they won’t want to spend it which is adverse to its use as a currency. This has also lead to it being incorporated and dominated by the very financial systems it was initially supposed to move away from
I don’t think this applies to Monero, which is more or less the only currency used in DNMs.
What makes you think that “crypto has failed on it’s goals”?
No, why would they? Haven’t you heard that Russia is literally Mordor filled with orcs, while Ukraine (especially under Zelensky’s rule) is a bastion of democracy? I don’t think that western governments/media and especially Zelensky (who doesn’t benefit at all from this war and is the main victim here) would lie to anyone about that!
Now that we got sarcasm out of the way…
If you want to form an informed opinion about it you can start by looking at the map of 2010 elections, where there was basically two candidates, a pro-EU one and pro-Russian one. Take a look at the distribution and percentage of people voting for a particular candidate in particular regions. Then look into the coup that happened in 2014, which powers participated in it (you can listen to their leaked conversations as well), then remember the electoral map you just looked at, and maybe make some conclusions.
That’s “before the invasion” the part.
“After the invasion” part is of course less clear, but again if you want to start making an informed opinion you can start by looking, for example, at the level of freedom people located on Ukraine controlled territories have and that of people on annexed by Russia territories (or just “Russia proper” territories). Who is free to leave at any moment and go anywhere, and who is forbidden to leave the country because the government needs cannon fodder? Who is encouraged to volunteer to join the army with monetary incentives, and who is kidnapped from the street, beaten, held in basemenets for days and forcefully sent to the meat grinder? Again, you can try to make some conclusions from that, and maybe speculate whether it’s possible that people from one of those groups may want to join the other one.
As a finishing touch - I am Ukrainian, I was born there, and lived most of my life there. Thankfully, I left the country before the war started. If I visit Ukraine - I will most likely be dead in a matter of months (after being kidnapped and beaten by the brave TCC guys). If I visit Russia - I will at most face more scrutiny at the border due to the war. I’m not from an eastern region of Ukraine and I never wanted it to become a part of Russia. You can try to guess which options are preferrable for me currently.
