ah that sucks. apparently wet food curbs the gain of weight a little (if it’s good wet food) because they’ll eat fewer calories per gram of food (more water), but I guess you’ve already tried that.

gravity feeders can work for cats that eat a lot of dry food, though their weight may be affected

also depends on their age. lots of play until they’re two years old, then they get a bit cuddlier. but even our 14yo grumpy cat sometimes still likes to play.

Private trackers or good (paid) Usenet indexers are two solutions for *arr tools specifically. If you’re manually adding files then just get them from trusted uploaders, manually check the upload before getting it.

you can ignore it if it isn’t a court mandated order. the lawyer wants to be paid, but they don’t need to be paid by OOP. they’re perfectly fine being paid by the harassing neighbor, which is what will happen eventually. there are always some of these harassment cases, and generally they go away if you just ignore them because there is no legal backing. the lawyer just scares you into compliance and if you pay that gets seen as an admission of guilt. there are several types of legal letters but most of them don’t require responding at all.

these are hypervisor cracks, which previously required disabling most security features and running software with system privileges on windows. now on zen 4 and above on linux they just require a modified proton build, which you can even make yourself.

two in each leg and one out front

only some. some or most new switch 2 cartridges are actually keys on the cartridge that just unlock an online download. no game files in sight. you can still resell the cartridge, but for how long is dubious, given that eventually the online store will be shuttered.

I have gotten pretty good at understanding what jellyfin wants from me. usually just english movie title (release year), and for tv series series title (release year) / season 1 / s1e1, s1e2, etc. be sure to check thetvdb ordering.

some shows have multiple orders, and jellyfin seems to randomly decide one fits better than another. had that recently with pokemon, which doesn’t have a fully mapped tvdb order at all. still managed to finagle it somehow, and now I’ve got literally 1337 episodes (not everything but also not nothing. I’m happy with it) sorted.

it’s not easy to (re)learn, but it’s possible. i slowly learned to type with 10 fingers over the course of like the last 6 years, just throwing my head against https://www.keybr.com/ once a year or so. the most difficult part for me was typing with my pinkies, but that only took about two hours of focused practice to start with. as with everything in life, you may get good without focused practice, but practice makes perfect.

i still get about 70wpm just tap typing. i never really got how to do swipe typing fast. i heard apparently some swipe keyboards allow you to mostly just swipe in the direction of a key without actually touching the key and that seems like a big speedup, but i never learned it.

Truly he has gone beyond want, to not even care about his career and image like that. What a spiritual role model.

On windows 11 you can turn your regular cursor various colors, including green and pink, and I wish KDE could do that. I could edit cursor vectors myself, but I don’t wanna. Too lazy. I like colorful cursors because they’re easier to find and track, but I don’t want those big bloated cutesy cursors.
