Well, from a powerless human I can say that time will find a way. I and my family would not exist without the eradication of the Aztec empire. Mixed people through are not totally removed. Maybe one way to prevent their genocide is to intermix and carry their next generation. One little person at a time. It may be too late. But maybe if just a handful survive or maybe if people who escaped before the genocide can find a way? Hopefully your decedents are not full of hate because of what is happening. As for the rest of us, we need to never allow this to happen on our name.
As a powerless human, I hope that my ideas get legs and find someone who does have influence. The future will not be kind to anyone who is evil. Yes I can be disappeared, but a future where evil is in total control by definition cannot happen unless everyone is evil.
I mean this in a realistic way. I am what’s left of the Jews persecuted by the Spanish Inquisition in Mexico. Only historians know this but in my hometown Jews were forced to hide their religious articles and pretend to be Catholics so that their kids would then be normal Mexican Catholics without prosecution. I know a few families that made it thru with some culture still remaining. The rest of us look like everyday Mexicans. My opinion is that your culture will heal with time. The important thing is to save the people. As many as possible.
