I‘ve only ever read the German versions but to my knowledge, they have been originally written in french and it’s up to the translators to also translate the humour. As is generally with any media (books, movies, games, etc.).
That can work very well and sometimes translations can even add additional humour that the originals didn’t have.

Wo zahlt man in Restaurants und Bars, vor allem in Großstädten, mittlerweile nicht 5-6€ für ne Halbe…? Nach den Maßstäben ist Oktoberfest zwar immer noch teuer aber man kann ja nicht Getränkemarkt mit Ausschank vergleichen.

Ich hätte interpretiert, dass das „endlich“ sich nicht auf den Beschluss bezieht sondern auf die Idee oder den Wunsch ein FCKAFD Shirt zu kaufen und das „diesmal“ sich nur auf den Beschluss bezieht.

Der Wunsch besteht also seit längerem, der Beschluss tatsächlich (endlich, nach langem träumen/wünschen/überlegen) eins zu organisieren ist jedoch explizit diesmal gefällt worden, noch nicht vorher.

Gewohnheit und der Mangel an Bedürfnis mich an was anderes zu gewöhnen.

In der Theorie gut, leider bin ich jemand dem der Qualitätsunterschied von YouTubes schlecht komprimierten 192 kbit/s mp3 zu den 256 kbit/s AAC meines Streaminganbieters teilweise deutlich auffällt. Und für eine eigene, offline Mediathek höre ich zu viele verschiedene Sachen und habe oft genug spontane Musikwünsche. Wen höhere Bitraten nicht jucken oder wer eine überschaubarere Mediathek hat oder die Muße hat sie zu pflegen findet hier (oder bei ähnlichen Apps) bestimmt eine gute Lösung die nicht die Welt kostet.

I love this in principle but I can’t use it myself. I‘m a very fast reader by default, basically already doing what the highlighting tries to make you do, without it needing to be there. The highlighting disrupts that for me. I end up stopping at every word and partially jumping back and forth. I do show this to people on occasion that aren’t as lucky as me with their reading speed and most said it helped them. Not all though.

Definitely more accurate than the donuts. That would have been it before arc but dang, it’s then only thing worth a damn they do at the moment.
