I’m gonna be honest, I wasn’t using Readarr before it was depreciated. I didn’t like how it would add every book by an author and clog up the dashboard.
I’ve always just used Prowlarr to fetch whatever book I wanted from MAM and import automatically it into Kavita.
yeah, if Cloudflare decides to switch off service in japan, there being other providers isn’t going to fix the economic damage that would happen.

this is like asking how to safely hook up with strangers at the bar if you can’t afford condoms to help protect you from STIs. if you can’t afford a VPN, you can’t afford to get disconnected by your ISP for three strikes, let alone afford a settlement because some copyright troll logged your IP as a downloader. just don’t do it until you can properly put some safeguards in place.

2·2 months agothat could work if it was happening at scale, meaning a significant amount of people online were doing it, but then again if that was the case then the people making the models would just adjust them to ignore it.
one person on fedi doing it isn’t even a blip in the data. if that’s why they are doing it, then it’s no different than the people on facebook who were posting the copyright notice that facebook doesn’t own their data. it doesn’t matter, and facebook wouldn’t notice even if it did.
That doesn’t work tho. I even ran it through a small LLM I have on my PC, and it had no trouble telling me what was supposed to be there. Something massive like ChatGPT wouldn’t even notice.

that’s called a seedbox. and yes, you can get them all over the place. MAM is affiliated with SeedIt4Me and RapidSeedbox, so those ones ought to be good. idk for sure tho, because I’ve never needed a seedbox so I can’t vouch for anything.
no, you shouldn’t use a VPN with any Servarr app. you use the vpn with the download client.
