In using it right now. And have been for several years. Don’t know why you would assume otherwise.
When basic tasks like changing the scaling, setting a default power profile, or a default audio device, or just installing software don’t require use of the terminal, call me back.
I’m not a “Linux hater”. I love Linux. I’m just being honest. Normies aren’t going to be able to use Linux until Linux developers and community decide it shouldn’t only be usable by developers.
reminding us that Linux is the only OS family that ever needs troubleshooting
No one said that, you literally just made it up.
What year is it?
That’s a great question

You could say the same thing about Bazzite or SteamOS. It’s the convenience of having all of those preconfigured “out of the box” that makes them popular.
E: Lutris is developing it, along with Heroic.
Theres no need to back out of Steam to open and configure Lutris. It boots right into a cross-platform launcher.

Exactly!
Yes that’s definitely what I meant 🙄
It just seems like it could have very easily been replaced with “customization” without the conflict.
What what?
Is no one going to comment on the racial slur that is “ricing”?
Ah yeah I forgot about that as well.
Its just more tailored to gaming outside of Steam, which is a legitimate benefit.
I think it’s safe to blame that first one on Linus’ absence.
I use it for my general distro as well:
All out of the box. Not something I’ve found with any other distro.
