you didn’t vote, so you where equally fine with both options. So in effect you voted for the winner, IE Trump
About 2/3 of the voting age no?
1/3 actively voted for him, and 1/3 was “fine with either option”
EU can deal with Russia alone well enough. Assuming US doesn’t come in on Russia side of course.
They did elect Trump to speak and act on their behalf tho
Or US supporting Russia.
If Ukraine says no, Trump’s going to double down on the “it’s Ukraine fault” narrative and start supporting Russia to promote “peace”
There’s also the small issue of “history doesn’t repeat, but it often rhymes”.
A lot of that is because rest of NATO is under US umbrella. Not like nukes are high tech at this point. Most of Europe could get nukes real fast if they wanted, but everyone has been better served by it being to many Nuclear Powers up to this point
It’s not so much that it’s only the “I can’t in good conscience vote for this party, so it’s better that the objectively worse party wins” crowd is worse then “I want the fascist to win” crowd. It’s the first crowd might listen, while the second is a lost cause.
Swedes aren’t the one giving out the Peace Price
