Dang, yeah, that’s irritating. Would they at least allow you hybrid? I know someone who works remotely 2 days/wk which has been nice.

Wow, what’s your role and how do I get it?

Got it. I did not know how old the pic was.

Oh, okay; just checking since I’d never seen this before. Pre-AI content is becoming a global treasure…

I kinda wonder if this is an AI-generated pic… Okay, I got the message! I had never seen this before.

Wow, I didn’t see the downvotes that I had accumulated. Apparently I need to edit my comment and mention that I was being satirical…

So what you’re really saying is that Cuba’s being economically propped up by the thick rope of tourism, without which it would quickly collapse, right?

Isn’t natural gas spent in the process?

It’s not like it goes up in smoke and disappears from the planet.

Burning natural gas in the process of LNG is probably like burning gasoline: it will stay in the air forever. It will never reform into pre-gasoline again, or not for ages upon ages anyway.

I had no idea this one strait was so critical for the entire human world. It alone sounds apocalypse-causing…

lol I never left. Trying to move more people over here, though!

Name-calling is very much redditor behavior. I hope we can do better than that here.

I don’t have the full picture of this altercation, but sorry to see others’ needlessly harsh reactions. I also strive for an educational view whenever possible.

Unfortunately, hive-mind cliques are everywhere; what Lemmy offers is the ability to change instances from ones with disagreeable people, or even to the same community name on a different instance. Getting said community up to as much popularity is a wholly different and oftentimes monumental matter, sure, but at least the option is there, unlike on Reddit.

That’s not the point. The point is, who made specifically the US the World Police? This kind of forced intervention is how you create the Taliban, ISIS, etc. What is your response to that?
