Alright, so hear me out… Ramen broth.
You have absolutely no clue how any part of our economy works, do you? Even if we could change the rules with a snap of our fingers, it still wouldn’t happen instantly since the actual physical capacity does not yet exist.
That’s not the kind of thing you can do instantly, and it’s definitely not the kind of thing you do while publicly shouting about it.
He already hates Trudeau and is taking it out on Canada. There’s not a whole lot more he’s going to be able to do without pissing off all his non-russian masters.
The purpose is to destabilize.
If you are referring to Iraq, not selling oil to the US wasn’t their big sin; it was trying to establish international oil trading in a currency other than USD.
Which things does that cover? Do we get to pull the shotguns and triangular bayonets out of storage?
I didn’t use it at all. I just pointed out that it’s only sexist/homophobic if other arrangements are given a pass, while the male-male arrangement is used in a pejorative manner. (On an unrelated note, it’s a fun fact that we can now safety assume that you are a male. I’m curious what the male: female ratio is among tankies). If anything, it’s the s+m community that should be offended, since the phrase implies that being the sexually submissive partner is inherently bad.
Are there any female authoritarian leaders? I can’t think of any current ones, so it may be simply descriptive instead of sexist/homophobic.
Man, did you somehow manage to skip the “Western Culture” class during your re-education? Not a single part of that statement makes any sense.
What part of that statement gave you any clue as to what their political leanings are?
I think it’s also going to depend on who the Liberals pick. I think Carney will have a better chance of winning than Freeland.
Ironically, with our reactors, it’s actually easier to make weapons materials than it is to make them go boom. It’s one of the reasons why we never sell them to non-nuclear nations.
That’s honestly what worries me the most. I’m pretty sure any actual conflict will look an awful lot like a civil war, and any student of history knows how incredibly bloody those tend to get.
We don’t have them, we just have all the knowledge, skills, and resources to make one.
We could probably whip one up in a month or so. We have all the technology and manufacturing capabilities required. And if CSIS doesn’t have some blueprints squirreled away somewhere, I’m going to be surprised and disappointed.
I’m definitely curious to see what happens in the polls when we find out who the Liberals choose. I don’t get the impression that people really trust Poilievre to handle Trump.
From the recent polls I’ve been seeing, Trump has apparently reminded a lot of conservative voters that they are Canadian. When asked how we should respond to Trump’s tariffs, “equal retaliation” and “escalation” combined for like 80%.
This whole thing seems to have poked that button we have where we can watch a hockey game, see someone start a fistfight over a perceived slight, and consider that a perfectly reasonable response.
Never thought of that. In my use case, Transmission is running in a container on my server, so it only ever has one connection, and VPN and traffic management happens on my router.
