This is my plan. I figure I have at least 5 more good years with my Tesla. By then there will be plenty of alternate EV options available. I’ll definitely be one and done with Tesla.
The excuse (at least given to the public) was that using the nukes would save the lives of allied soldiers. The Japanese army was more than willing to fight to the death, and Japanese citizens had been brainwashed into believing allied soldiers would rape, torture, and kill them. So in their eyes it was also better to fight the allies if they were able to.
I seriously doubt they’re carried further than that ditch right over there, if they’re lucky…
Nah, they just send the entire family to forced labor camps…
Trump going to emulate big daddy Putler and embark on a 3 day special operation after he’s back in the White House?
You seriously think Trump is considering further out than next months news cycle?
I never said they weren’t legit. I said they likely would never go public and be listed on stock exchanges due to all the requirements that entails.
These companies I listed provide VPN services to people who want a level of privacy in their internet usage. That list of public companies you mentioned sell VPN hardware mostly to corporations that want to secure their own private traffic between different locations. Huge difference.
Never said they were.
That list of public companies mostly sell networking gear that you can use to configure VPNs. I don’t think that’s what the post I originally replied to was talking about. I think they were talking more about VPN service providers like NordVPN, ExpressVPN, PIA, ProtonVPN, etc.
Yeah, but how many VPN providers are public companies? I’m guessing not very many given the reporting requirements public companies face.
Actually it’s the Flavor Aid you need to watch out for… Specifically the grape flavor.
Best investment I ever made for my car was a dash cam that records not only what’s in front of me but what’s behind.
I only wish I had it when I got rear ended after slamming on the brakes when an oncoming car swerved into my lane then took off after cutting me off…
Well they are all the same…
We’ll know when future claims are true when Russia acts on highly classified US intelligence, like that time Trump gave them the names of US spies.
My wife & I just spent a week in London, where there are plenty of cars but very little off-street parking. We saw a significant number of EV’s ranging from Tesla’s & other cars, to taxis, double decker busses, and the occasional truck/lorry. We spotted one or two Tesla super charger stations as we made our way around the city, as well as a very small number of public parking spaces along roads that had either chargers or just outlets to plug chargers into.
What little I saw certainly didn’t seem like a lot, but they clearly seem to have some sort of grasp on the situation given the number of EV’s we saw…
Wary why? I work remotely in IT and manage a ton of Linux systems with it. Because my company has a large number of remote employees they limit us to Windows or Macs only, and have pretty robust MDM, security, etc. installed on them. Since MacOS is built on top of a unix kernel it’s much more intuitive to manage other unix & linux systems with it.
Personally I haven’t used Windows really since before Windows 10 came out, and as the family tech support department I managed to switch my wife, parents, brother, and mother in-law all to Mac’s years ago as well.
It’s also worth mentioning that the Russian/Korean border is tucked into the farthest corner of China’s border. So any travel from the DPRK to places like Moscow or Ukraine is a pretty long, circuitous route.
It’s still a very good idea for any country to keep close tabs on an adversary. Complacency never benefits anybody. And the South Koreans will be better at translating, especially when it comes to any slang, regional dialects, etc.
Yeah, but money laundering with a 50-80% loss isn’t all that great.
I recently attended a talk by Admiral James Stavridis, who among other thing was the 16th NATO Supreme Allied Commander. He feels the EU will be able to defend itself if the US abandons NATO, etc. Between the manpower the European members has to draw on, their existing defense & manufacturing industries, their shared mistrust of Putin, etc. they have a lot going for them.
