Lol, despite looking like poo with corn in it, those are actually really tasty. Well, at least the ones that you used to be able to get at the convenience store near me. Those were full length, though.

They’re basically cheeseburgers in a hotdog form factor / hotdog bun. Were great when I had to travel for work and wanted a cheeseburger - way easier to eat while driving than a traditional cheeseburger.

It’s not an “or” situation. It is and always has been an “and”.

My gripe is with people refusing to do anything on a personal level because “what does it matter when X industry pollutes more in 5 minutes than I do in a year?”.

I get what you’re saying and the “individual carbon footprint” is often used to blame shift to regular people just living their lives, but we do still have a carbon footprint. It may be a tiny, rodent-sized footprint compared to the Kaiju-sized ones of big industries, but our actions and choices do have an effect (especially collectively).

I just don’t like dismissing the individual carbon footprint as total propaganda because it’s not wrong (though I acknowledge it is abused). Dismissing it like that just puts out a defeatist “nothing I do matters” message when our individual choices do matter and add up.

Can you live a totally carbon-neutral life in the modern age? No, probably not. But we also shouldn’t throw the baby out with the bathwater and do nothing.

Would love to bring these back instead of the wojack guy.

Even if they do eventually air it, it would be enlightening to play “spot the difference” between what they didn’t want to air and what they finally do. My guess would be CBS doing something like sed s/Trump/Biden/g to the script.

At least in the default UI, it’s still not working right. It’s all treated as the title of the spoiler.

Not sure what client you’re using, but the spoiler tag not being closed causes them to not work.

Happy Birthday?

I came across a ~2014 era memes folder on my NAS and found a few of them in there. Otherwise, I’d have never remembered they existed.

Might be a bit premature. I’m gonna hold off until someone whose brain isn’t a pile of mush and who isn’t a pathological liar confirms it.

I buy the jars instead of the packets and have started refrigerating them. May go ahead and start putting the extras in the freezer. Nice tip.
