Hear hear, well said, as a 52 year old, (albeit I’m Lebanese and had my fair share of Israeli wars), it’s been obvious from day 1 Israel has long been practicing blatant apartheid policies in the Gaza strip, and providing IOF support to terrorist settler pogroms in the west bank. The vile entity that is the Israeli government today needs to be torn down and rebuilt to allow for a viable Palestinian state.

I too am taking a side and fuck Israel and the IOF.

I agree that we shouldn’t stop fighting, but it’s very uneven when you fight the people controlling the entire narrative. They own the TV’s, the social media, The majority of the press as well as pumping money into disinformation.

They do, up to the point where, as we are seeing, technology starts being used by governments to suppress their people. Where social advances have identified many disorders, only for governments to use these medical labels (autism springs to mind in the US) to attack groups of people or refute science to blame these disorders on vaccines for example. Two vastly different sides of one messed up coin. For every advance we make, these advances give tools to governments etc. I get how far medicine has come and how we have got a handle on many diseases, and how technology has without doubt made our every day lives easier. But there’s a flip side to that, and it’s ugly.

While I agree with the sentiment, these have mainly come about due to technological advancements as well as social ones (diplomacy). We are at heart still a war mongering people with a need to dominate.

Humans are a cancer, we have developed and advanced technologically but we are still barbarians. There’s very little we can do about the human condition so we will continue to watch these disasters and tut tut, and click on the next story.

That might do, as a start. I’m personally all for collective punishment, strip them of money to rebuild the destruction and right to return for the refugees who are stateless in Lebanon / Syria / Jordan. All illegal settlements to be transferred to the rightful owners of the land, no more alliya for Americans and Europeans until these issues are settled. Obviously this is not going to happen, but a man can wish for some justice in this world.

Unfortunately Israels actions are much like any extremists these days, very loud, very violent, throwing the victim card willy nilly and calling everything antisemetic. I remember when 911 happened and Muslims everywhere had to go out of their way to prove they are not extremists. There is crickets from Jewish leaders across the world on Israels actions.
