In my experience public toilets are so badly maintained that I’d rather avoid touching any porcelain besides that of the sink. That’s one of the main reasons I go for urinals. It’s also often the most direct way to achieve my objectives if my only goal is to urinate, unless there are other people in which case I hover around waiting for one urinal to become less crowded or just use a stall if it doesn’t look disgusting.

Whenever I see such situations I’m glad I have created an account on hexbear after they federated, because I know they don’t tolerate this shit. All the ex-reditors on those instances tell each other scary campfire stories of the things hexbears did when they were federated with them (or as is the case .world, the things they could do if they were hypothetically federated), but as can be seen from the upvotes on that post, they are the people who would most benefit from being haunted by them for their takes.

It isn’t just a server thing. Discord can request a phone number from you if they think something unusual is happening. Trying to create an account while using tor will make them ask for a phone number, and they reject those numbers offered by shared number services.

Last I checked I could only share specific windows, not the whole screen. Later there was also an update with a window or screen selection dialogue that didn’t work at all, I think. After that I stopped using it on wayland.

I tested this on Godot 4.2.1. You can write identifiers using a different writing system other than latin and you are allowed to have emojis in strings, but you aren’t allowed to use emojis in identifiers.

I think they exclude some unicode characters from being use in identifiers. At least last I tried it wouldn’t allow me to use an emoji as a variable name.

This leaves out a lot. xananax did use the n-word in a few messages 8 years ago to refer to himself as a joke, in response to being called that in other communities (he’s arab and thus one of the slurs was sand n-word). He has apologized for those messages a long time ago, and throughout the years has shown no tolerance towards towards racism or any other kinds of bigotry. What he did do sometimes was use some very strong and crude language (think on the level of calling someone human filth) towards such bigots (if I recall correctly there were at least two instances of such events in the past once towards someone defending israel’s actions and another towards a transphobe, he did apologize for both I think). Like, I think he can be criticized, but not for racism.

Also, I think the main drama is just bigots suddenly noticing Godot’s stance in regards to inclusiveness that the foundation had the whole time, from a tweet by the foundation sarcastically using the word “woke” and encouraging people to share their games that are “woke”. The xananax thing isn’t really the main drama, I think.

This is actually interesting, because I remember sokoban being one of those games that are hard for a computer to find a winning solution for, while being quite easy for a human. So they made their own game inspired by sokoban with very simple levels?
